Summer listening with Human Geography

So we made it through our first year of the Human Geography reading group with vastly fluctuating numbers and several early recesses to the pub. Next year we’ve got bigger and brighter plans including the launch of the first postgraduate geography conference in November. But until we kick off again in late January here are some audio files by famous geographers that you can listen to on the web.

Sophie Watson on the "Hidden spaces and urban life - geodemography" (Real Audio)
Ed Soja on the "Impact of location on culture, economics and sexuality" (Real Player Video file)
Doreen Massey on "Is The World Really Shrinking?" (Real Audio)
David Harvey "On a brief history on neo-liberalism" (mp3 download)
